L7 Audio Engineering is an online mixing and mastering company founded by Alexander Arrindell in 2022 and is currently headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Our company was founded with the vision of creating an online platform that would make audio mixing and mastering accessible to the masses at affordable prices. As of now, L7 Audio Engineering only consists of 1 head sound engineer who is also the founder of the company. However, we aspire to take on more professionals into our team as we grow. We strive to become a team of professional audio engineers dedicated to bringing our customers’ creative visions to life. Specializing in various genres such as Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, and many more, we aim to provide results that meet our customers’ satisfaction. Our services include Mixing, Mastering and Vocal Recording.

Our Team

Alexander Arrindell (Head Sound Engineer)

Hi, my name is Alexander Arrindell. I am a producer and audio engineer that goes by the name of "THATBOYSEVEN". I was born in England in 1998 and founded L7 Audio Engineering in February 2022. Although I was born in England, I spent most of my life on an island in the Caribbean called Sint Maarten. Within my teenage years on the island, I discovered my passion for music production and quickly began teaching myself how to produce music.

Once I graduated high school in Sint Maarten, I moved to the Netherlands in 2016 to pursue a higher education. Here, I studied Business and Management for 2 years at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. However, since music has always been a big part of my life, it didn’t take long for me to realize that it's the only thing I wanted to do. I then decided to pursue studying Audio Production and Engineering at SAE Institute in Amsterdam in 2018. I really enjoyed my time there, and got to develop my skills as an overall producer. In my second year at SAE, I got the chance to experience working on a Solid State Logic 6000E console which sparked a whole new obsession with audio engineering and the sound of quality outboard equipment.

In September 2022, I did my thesis on Acoustics and completed my studies at SAE with a BSc (Hons) in Audio Production. During the course of my study, I freelanced in various studios as a recording engineer and got to work on many projects for local artists. Now that I have gained enough experience locally, I'm willing to use my expertise to also help artists globally!
